Definitions and Code Words
The Confederate Flag
The flag is seen by some Southerners as a symbol of Southern pride. For the most part these days it is a symbol of white domination of the African American. The flag is also used by racists as an alternative to the American flag which they consider an emblem of what they describe as the Jewish-controlled government. When the flag is brought to a rally you can pretty much guarantee it is there as a symbol of hate and racism.
“I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!”
This comment is dripping in racism. Obama won 365 Electoral votes to 173. The people spoke. They wanted change. Obama is pushing the policies that the majority voted for. Yes this is a takeover but it is not from the administration it is by Americans that were tired of politics of fear. The “I want my country back” comment is taken out of context. It should be followed up with, “from the horrible black man”. People who were racist before the election are going out of their minds that a black man is their president.
Racist undertones of the Birthers
Birthers are a fringe group who refuse to believe despite all evidence to the contrary that Barack Obama is a natural born citizen. The birthers can not accept that a black man is their president. They go out of their way to try and show that he can’t be. These racists also know they can not publicly declaim Obama because of his color so they have come up with ridiculous euphemisms that seeks to achieve the same alienating results. By bringing up Kenya in almost every discussions the Birthers get to remind people that Obama is black. Bringing up Kenya shows the true nature of their comments. It is not a coincident that most birthers are from Southern states where racism is still a problem.
Comparing Obama to Hitler
When someone compares Obama to Hitler you can pretty much guarantee that the person doing this is racist. This is called projecting. Seriously do you think Obama’s goal is ethnic cleansing? Really? Is he creating a supreme race? Does he really want to kill all the Jews? To compare an African American to Hitler is vile and repulsive. Not to mention ludicrous.
“Obama is a racist”
Reverse racist comments directed at Obama are another example of projecting. The person saying this is the racist plain and simple. Obama was raised by a single white mother. His Vice President is white. The majority of the people in his cabinet are white. He was elected by a large amount of white people. There are no racist comments on record. Wouldn’t a racist have a few comments on record? He is not a racist. The people accusing him of this are the racist.
“Obama is a Muslim/Terrorist”
When Obama is accused of being a Muslim the person shouting this is saying he is a terrorist because most racists think Muslims are terrorists. It is repulsive and un-American to call your President a terrorist. It is also an insult to Muslims to associate a fringe group with all of them. That is like saying all Conservatives are racists when we know only a portion are.
The use of the word “Upitty” when talking about Obama
When ever the word “Uppity” is used in reference to Obama it is a code word for “Uppity Ni**er”. It is vile and repulsive.
Comparing Obama to a monkey
If you don’t think comparing Obama to a monkey is racist call a black man a monkey or an ape to his face. I’ll see you in the hospital.
Comparing Obama to an African native
This is a subtle way of calling Obama a spear chucker. A term that is very offensive to the African American community.
