That comment actually proves that it was a Conservative that left it. The misconception that the KKK was founded by Democrats is being pushed by Glenn Beck. A liberal would not leave that comment. Although the statement is accurate it leads people to falsely assume that the Southern Democratic party was liberal during this time. From 1877 to 1965 the conservatives in the south identified themselves with the Southern Democratic party. See my post Stealing History.

So you are telling me that the conservatives in the south were Republican? The Republican party of Lincoln? The Republican party that went to war against the south? The Republican party that southern conservatives hated so much they secede from the nation?

The history I quoted comes directly from Conservapedia? Are you saying that Conservapedia is lying that conservatives in the south associated themselves with the Democratic party from 1877 to 1965?

The modern democrat party roots go back to the KK and slavery..You can try to twist it all you want but it is a fact..Look at one of your great senators Robert Byrd and his membership in the KKK then look at other hero’s of the democrat party that were against the Civil Rights Act. Your so desperate to prove something you have to twist the facts and make stuff up.

Sounds to me more like a group of democrats talking because the one person truthfully said The “KKK was founded by DEMOCRATS after the Civil War in Pulaski, TN.” You democrats have a proud heritage.

That’s Obama being portrayed as the Joker from the Dark Night? What? I didn’t know that. It is the hidden meaning that is white face. This is a double standard but in life there sometimes are. The fact that you can’t see one racist picture on the site tells me you are a racist. The “Save White America” guy is pretty racist. The kid on his bike holding a sign that reads, “This sign is the brownest thing on this entire block” is pretty racist. And there are only a few posts because every time I go looking for pictures I get sick to my stomach. The same way I got sick when I was around the Tea Party crowd in DC the day Health Care passed. Not everyone involved is a racist but there is a dark underbelly to the group. If you removed the skin off a white man and a black man we are equally hideous underneath. Racism makes no sense. Why would the color of our skin make one set of people better than the other? Are you that insecure that you have to feel better than other people?

I’m trying to see your point Ted but in life there sometimes are double standards. Portraying a black man as someone whose goal it was to eliminate all races except “the perfect race” is extremely racist. You never saw blacks in the concentration camps because they were shot on site. The sign has nothing to do with being a dictator it is all about race. The people holding them almost always have a sickeningly wide smile on their faces because they know they are being a racist out in the open. And for the record I am appalled when anyone uses Hitler to get their point across. It trivializes one of the worst acts in our history.
